Blue Christen is a multimedia artist, sculptor, and ceramicist, gravitating towards the organic, amalgamous, evocative, and emotive in their work. They are a fourth-year Studio Art major at SDSU, as well as the Creative Director of UCLA’s Planet Pose, an inclusive art and fashion organization. Blue’s work is informed by their curiosity and desire to create, an exercise in looking inward and reaching out, forging connections to the self and the viewer. They strive to create work that speaks honestly to the experience of being a human, (or at the very least, an alive, thinking, breathing, loving being,) balancing the brutal/harsh and the tender and gentle, often times entwining the two.
